Letter to King Charles III

A ceremonial document listing the names of all members of the Noble Order of Lagottos will be sent to King Charles III a few days before the celebration of his birthday – on June 14, 2025 – to Buckingham Palace. A letter will be enclosed with this document, and its full wording is presented here.
Your Majesty,

We, the founders and members of the Noble Order of Lagottos, respectfully and sincerely send you our warmest greetings and wish you strength, joy, and peace in your royal mission.

Along with this letter, we are sending a ceremonial document that includes a declaration from Lagottos around the world, as well as the honorary names of all Lagottos who have been granted noble titles within our Order. This document symbolizes our shared will to honor and spread the dignity and glory of our exceptional breed wherever we live.

It was with great joy that we received the news of Your Majesty welcoming a Lagotto Romagnolo puppy into the Royal Family. In the eyes of our Order, this is an act that symbolically restores the noble status of our breed – a status it has rightfully held for centuries.

We have therefore decided to welcome the Royal Lagotto into our ranks and to offer him a helping paw as he embarks on life within the royal household.

At the same time, we would like to emphasize that the founding of the Noble Order of Lagottos is not an act of media attention, but a step towards protecting a breed that is exceptionally sensitive, intelligent, and demanding to understand. We believe it is our duty to protect and support a community capable of educating, guiding, and standing beside those who choose to welcome a Lagotto into their lives.

As a community of responsible owners, we also aim to become a relevant partner in shaping the public image of this extraordinary breed. Our mission is to help ensure that it is seen not as a fashionable trend, but as a loyal companion for people with time, heart, and respect.

Our humble request is that this document be accepted into Your Majesty's personal archive as a symbolic gesture of affection, and that you receive it in the spirit in which it was created – with respect and love.
